Pembridge Parish Councillor Vacancy

The Parish Council are looking to co-opt a new Councillor. If you are over 18 and live, work or own land in the parish and are interested in what happens locally or have ideas about the parish then why not consider joining us. The Parish Council meet 11 times a year, made up of parishioners giving up a little of their time to make Pembridge a better place to live, advising on all local issues and commenting on the planning consultation process. Remembrance 2018 - Tree Planting

We would like to trace any family members of Pembridge WWI fallen soldiers. A permanent war memorial of saplings from the Verdun Oak will be planted along the straight mile by volunteers. Nominations are open for the Community Champion Awards 2018

Do you know a champion? Nominate them for a £500 award! The Community Champions awards have been developed to recognise and say a massive ‘Thank You’ to the extraordinary individuals and groups in Herefordshire that make it one of the best places in the country. The awards are open to anyone who lives in Herefordshire, and we invite nominations for those who have demonstrated commitment to making a positive difference in their community. All nominations should be made online and the closing date is for nominations is 9 February 2018. All finalists are invited to the presentation awards ceremony dinner at the Town Hall on 16 March 2018. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions before entering. Five categories are open to nominations for people in Herefordshire who have made a positive difference in their community. The awards recognise exceptional contributions to local communities in the following categories: Community Champion, Volunteer Champion, Caring Champion, Environment Champion and Youth Champion.
